If it’s open countryside you enjoy – there’s plenty to take in. Bring your dogs for a wonderful walk and why not swap your walking boots for bib and tucker and take in a fabulous pub lunch on the way!
Children’s Activities
No matter how old the kids are, there’s always an adventure just round the corner from Mount Pleasant Barns. A firm favourite for all ages is Stratford’s Butterfly Farm, or visit Warwick Castle with daily shows, creepy dungeons, archers, jousting and falconers; go rowing on the River Avon and take a spin on the big wheel while you’re there! Little ones will love Hatton Adventure World packed with real farm animals, daily shows and entertainment. So much to keep all the family occupied!

Star Gazing
Set far away from busy roads in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, we enjoy the light of thousands of stars and planets above us streaked with comets and meteor showers. Track the Starlink as it arcs above the barns whilst soaking in the hot tub, or snuggle up beneath a cosy blanket with a mug of something deliciously warming and contemplate the cosmos!
Cotswold Christmas Markets
Christmas in the Cotswolds is a pure delight with magical frosty scenes and warming log fires in the pubs. The area also hosts wonderful Christmas markets. Indulge in artisan crafts, locally-sourced delicacies, and warm cups of aromatic mulled wine, for festive vibes at the Stratford Victorian Market, Blenheim Palace Christmas Festival and Moreton-in-Marsh Christmas Market not to mention Christmas at Warwick Castle complete with a spectacular light trail and open-air ice skating.
